Outreach
I have been involved in different aspects of various programs that are focused on the educational development and overall personal development of young people. Some of my recent activities include:
> Interviewer for the PA Junior Academy of Science Scholarships and Awards, Penn State
> Invited Judge for Research Experiences: Upward Bound Math and Science Center; Summer Experience in Earth and Mineral Sciences; & Summer Experience in Eberly College of Science, Penn State
> Volunteer for Family Science Night at local middle schools, the Eberly College of Science, Penn State

Student member: Geological Society of America, Society of Wetland Scientists, Soil Science Society of America, Association of Women Soil Scientists, Newman Catholic Club

Travel
Being from a Caribbean island, I have developed a taste for travel. I have been to other Caribbean islands as well as many US cities and Canadian provinces. So far, my favorite US visit is Charleston, SC
